At The Maker by Akash, we take pride in delivering quality footwear directly from our factory. Every pair of shoes is carefully inspected before dispatch. However, if you face any issue, our Return & Exchange Policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and simple.
Eligibility for Return or Exchange
You may request a return or exchange under the following conditions:
- The product received is damaged, defective, or incorrect
- The shoe size does not fit and an exchange for size is required (subject to availability)
- The product is unused, unworn, and in its original condition
Requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.
Conditions for Acceptance
To be eligible for a return or exchange:
- Shoes must be unused and not worn outdoors
- Original packaging, tags, and box must be intact
- The product must be returned in a resaleable condition
- Proof of purchase (order ID or invoice) is required
Returns or exchanges may be declined if the product shows signs of wear, damage caused by use, or is returned without original packaging.
Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items
The following are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Products damaged due to misuse, wear and tear, or improper handling
- Items returned after the 7-day return window
Products purchased during clearance or special discount sales (if mentioned on product page)
Exchange Process
- Size exchanges are subject to stock availability
- If the requested size is unavailable, a return or store credit may be offered
- Exchange requests must be approved before sending the product back

Pickup & Shipping
- Reverse pickup availability depends on your location
- If reverse pickup is not available, customers may be asked to self-ship the product
- Shipping charges, if applicable, will be communicated during the approval process
Refund Policy
- Refunds are applicable only for approved returns
- Once the returned product passes quality inspection, the refund will be processed
- Refunds are issued to the original mode of payment within 7–10 working days
Factory-Direct Quality Check
All returned products undergo a quality inspection at our factory before approval of exchange or refund. This ensures fairness for both the customer and the brand.
Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch
- Once the order is shipped, cancellation requests will not be accepted
